Steve Allen serves as our Family Minister overseeing the Children’s and Youth Ministries. Steve first attended Crossroads as a high school junior while attending Newport High School, served as a volunteer with the Middle School Ministries while attending the University of Washington, and then served as a Middle School and High School Pastor for seven years after college. Steve and his family were also supported by Crossroads while they served in Zambia for five years while training pastors at Action Pastor’s College. Upon returning, he spent the next five years as Executive Director at Family Promise of Spokane. Steve studied at Multnomah Seminary and Western Seminary and finished his mDiv at Newburgh Seminary. He is married to Stephanie and has four daughters. He is grateful to be back at Crossroads to help support parents and volunteers as we together become a village to disciple the next generation to love and serve Jesus.
I grew up in Loveland, Colorado and married my high school sweetheart 33 years ago. I got a business degree from the University of Colorado, and served on staff with FamilyLife (division of Cru) for 16 years. We spent a decade in Nashville, TN where I served as the Women’s Ministry Director for Fellowship Bible Church. I am a recent graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a degree in Christian Leadership, and am currently serving as the Children’s Ministry Director. Some of the things I love most in life are our 5 children, age 21 to 28, and two little grandsons. I also love to sew, craft, hike, and have long conversations with friends. I am passionate about discipleship, helping the church live in community and become all God created them to be.
Amy graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and teaching certificate in the state of Washington. She has been in full-time ministry for 12 years and has a heart to see children, students, and young adults follow Jesus for a lifetime. Some of her favorite things to do is boating, wakeboarding, traveling, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. She recently got engaged to her best friend Sylvan and looks forward to seeing what God has in store for them as they continue to serve in ministry together. Her advice: “God created each one of you with a purpose and a calling to glorify Him. Be bold and courageous in that calling and know that God takes great delight in who He has created you to be.”

Our dear Jane is anything but plain! She has a smile as bright as the yellow sunshine, and a heart as big as the bright blue sea. She loves our children and families like a cuddly brown teddy bear, and is always there to help like our own precious Jesus. She lives in a teeny tiny house with her great big dog, Graycee and sweet husband, Allen.

In her free time she enjoys traveling (Portugal is her recent favorite place), baking, reading and laughter, which happens a lot with a 13 yr old in the house.
